{"id":23,"date":"2017-06-22T22:47:32","date_gmt":"2017-06-22T22:47:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npa.org.nz\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2020-06-05T01:50:23","modified_gmt":"2020-06-05T01:50:23","slug":"awards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/npa.org.nz\/?page_id=23","title":{"rendered":"Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How many awards are offered?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every year three <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1VM_kjbGEgw_QhdhlhKSRxndD6VVfV_OoWGLFqB74pec\/edit?usp=sharing\">Professional Learning Awards<\/a> are offered at a value of $3000 each. \u00a0These awards are offered to individuals and may not be split between applicants unless a combined application is received. \u00a0The panel will not enter into any further dialogue in cases where applications have been unsuccessful.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What the awards are for?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This award is offered to principals for the purposes of undertaking professional learning, requiring them to pay to attend conferences, undertake study\/research, or go about other innovative plans in which they <\/span><b><i>are clearly working to become effective leaders of learning<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who can apply?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These awards are for current full time principals who are paid members of the Nelson Principals\u2019 Association. \u00a0This award is not open to acting principals or principals in a short term employment capacity. \u00a0A minimum of one award per year is offered to principals of U1-3 schools, but more can be awarded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1VM_kjbGEgw_QhdhlhKSRxndD6VVfV_OoWGLFqB74pec\/edit?usp=sharing\">Further information about the NPA Professional Learning Awards and application<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How many awards are offered?
